I'M FOR SERIOUSLY EXCITED ABOUT SEEING ALL OF YOU GUYS THERE!

Hi

hey guys. just wanted to write here and invite you to start praying for the next season.

the coming of the summer season, and then soon - fall. a fresh batch of cute, cudley freshman that we can mangle and distort to think like we do (i'm sort of kidding)

please pray for God to send skillful musicians, but more importantly, those filled with a heart of worship and a passion to integrate their will and skill to the work of our team.

I love you guys and am praying for ya.

whoa

Hey guys, last tuesday (yesterday) we watched Jesus Camp - and I think it brought up some great discussion.

Please be in prayer for next week when we talk about relationships and the segway from this week till then.

I forgot to ask you guys a few weeks ago...

Meagan raised a point that we sang one song too much. In turn, we incorporated that song's chorus into the body of another song, with very little transitition... If you guys rememeber it was from Wonderful Maker to Consuming Fire.

  1. what did you guys think of the transition?
  2. was it smooth?
  3. was it distracting?
  4. what about this weeks transition from "once again" to "more than enough"?

more discussion to come.
i love you guys,
jam

Beautiful Collision
Capo 1

F#m D
The breaking makes a sound, I never knew could be
F#m D F#m D
So beautiful and loud, fury filled and we collide.

Here it comes, a beautiful collision is happening now

There seems no end to where You begin and there I am now

yes it is.... but i'm sure that you all can do it.

also, please enjoy the CD - remember that it's not for burning for a million people. they're for you to learn and use for educational purposes only - thanks.

I'M SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!!

a BIG PROPS to our sister Maria for leading last night!...

that was fantastic!... i'm really proud of you!

also a thanks to Christina and Shannon that helped out... it was awesome y'all...

what i'm going to try to do in a couple of weeks in have you lead, but play in the background with you... i think this will really help strengthen your leading skills...

i have no doubt that you'll be leading like a rock star real soon!

so guys, if i'm not mistaken, you should be on Psalms 61-65 this week....

exciting stuff... i hope that you realize that these are the redemption songs... they are incredibly joyous in nature... this is because they are written from the persepective of David after he repents for the sins that he committed with Bathsheba....A forgiven heart bleeds with sincerity and compassion - ESPECIALLY in song writing.

i hope your weeks go well... but one last thing!!
HOMEWORK!!!!
i know you love getting it... so here's an easy one for you ... before this next tuesday, i want you guys to write one line/sentence of how you think the fellowship is doing.

so POST YOUR ONE LINE POEM in a comment on this blog!!

ok... that's all for now... i love you guys, and i can't wait to the conclusion of "storytime with Jesus" next week... Stephen from Connecticut will be leading that for us... awesome.

i am burning you all a CD (for educational purposes only - this means that the licence is limited, and i encourage you to buy all the music yourself if you really enjoy them! - support your artists!)

here is a list of the songs-artists-and albums so you can get caught up on the newer music.

otherly - i'm thinking about practicing twice a month on mondays if that's ok with you guys... i don't know what you think... but if you're free on mondays at around 7:30, that would be awesome

how's collosians going?!

love you all,
jam
